March 28, 1980- Five Quad is commended by the state legislature for "their dedication to the preservation of the safety and well being of the residents of the State University of New York at Albany" [17.2.4]
This resolution constitutes the first time that Five Quad has received recognition for its services at the state level
October 15, 1991- Five Quad wins "The Golden Rule Award" presented by J.C. Penney [17.3.5]
This award was accompanied by $1,000 from J.C. Penney, as well as a letter of commendation from President George Bush
1997- Henry Kirchner receives the 1997 Excellence Award in Profession Service"
Assisted undergraduates in the creation of "what is now the very successful student-run Five Quad Volunteer Ambulance Service, and he continues to serve on its Board of Directors"
1999- Karl G Kilts wins "Excellence in Support Service" Award

Conducted CPR and First Aid classes for University employees
Organized Mock DWI for National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week
March 15, 2005- Five Quad wins First Place for the NCEMSF Trauma Skills competition, and took 3rd place overall skills competition [18.6]
March 2008- Five Quad received the "Striving for Excellence in Campus EMS" Award at the 15th annual NCEMSF Conference [18.12]
April 2015- Five Quad named "Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Organization of the Year" at the 22nd annual NCEMSF Conference [19.7, 19.8, 19.9, 19.10]
Five Quad also earned "HEARTSafe Campus" Designation for UAlbany by certifying over 1,000 UAlbany students in Hands-Only CPR
April 28, 2015- UAlbany President's Awards for Exemplary Public Engagement [19.11]
