History of Five Quad Volunteer Ambulance Service

FQVAS Throughout the Years: Articles, Documents, & Photographs

Archiving a Unique Organization's History

At the mark of the 50th anniversary, I am proud to share my compilation of all things related to the history, culture, and management of one of the nation's first collegiate ambulance services.

This project wouldn't have been possible without the help of current Five Quad members, alumni, and the University at Albany's Archive. All media is given credit where due. Throughout this site you will find information dating back to the service's founding in October 1973 by Barry Bashkoff, and with any luck, this archive will continue to grow as Five Quad continues to serve for the the next 50 years.

Photos
